This is the first album by the Portland band "Land of the Blind". (Now based in San Fransisco.)

How to describe them... Mix an equal dose of Kate Bush intensity, tribal weirdness, "world music", and trance ambient music and mix together well.

My favorite tracks are their cover of "Calling All Angels" and "Michael". The rest of the tracks are excelent as well.

The album is out of print. According to Cyhokha (the lead singer) it will probably never be reprinted.

Get this while you can. An excelent album. I have already worn my first copy out and will be getting another.

I also recommend any and/or all of the rest of their albums. There is another band by the same name, so make sure you have the right band.
