Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Super-Charged 200 MPH Rock & Roll Thrills .......2005-02-11

The Eyeliners really came into their own on Here Comes Trouble. Their earlier album Confidential has some excellent songs and exhibits their trademark ultra-high-energy delivery, but Here Comes Trouble turns up the level of songwriting, the musicianship and the production values by several notches each.

It's difficult for me to express how much I love this album. There are so many truly great songs - Party Til The Break Of Dawn, Rock-N-Roll Baby, Do The Zombie. It was hearing Rock-N-Roll Baby for the first time a few years ago that sent me madly pogoing around the house and started the process of turning me into a passionately devoted fan of the band.

If you have a delicate heart condition or the idea of having too much fun scares you, you should probably stay away from Here Comes Trouble. Everyone else, please give The Eyeliners a listen. These girls are true keepers of the rock & roll flame...

5 out of 5 stars Rock on Punk Ladies.......2002-09-19

The Eyeliners are a kick...punk band from New Mexico. Sisters no less. Not only are they a sight for the eyes, but also a sound for the ears. This being their second full length release, it has even more rocking. Influenced heavily by the likes of The Ramones and Screeching Weasel, these ladies are all out attitude. From "Here comes Trouble" to "Finished with You", there isn't a dull moment on the whole album. ... They have so much energy and it all comes out in their music. Energetic, guitar charged pop punk. I love every song on this album. People should deff check this and the Eyeliners other albums out as soon as possible. Put the cd in ... and have a ball. Also, be sure to stop by their web site, ... Rock on!

4 out of 5 stars Confidential is better.......2001-12-13

Ideally, I would have given them 3.5 stars if that was possible.
Generally, this is a really good album and fun to listen to, marred by the cliche ("Here Comes Trouble" -- "I do what I do with an attitude/'cause you push me way too far") and the self indulgent ("See You Tonight"). Compared to Confidential (which you can find on other online sources even though it's not available on Amazon), I find this a cut below, but it's still the recognizable pop punk of the Eyeliners.

5 out of 5 stars The best album of 2000!.......2000-12-26

I saw these girls open for Screeching Weasel at the House of Blues and they blew me away! I bought the Here Comes Trouble CD at the show, and I haven't stopped listening to it yet! This is a great CD - 14 classic pop punk rock n roll songs!! Fans of Screeching Weasel, Ramones, Teen Idols, etc. will love this album. Buy it - you won't be disappointed!
