Customer Reviews:
The rockabilly cd!!!.......2004-08-25
If you want to hear the Paladins playing rockabilly, this is teh cd to get. Each Paladins cd is unique and offers different styles(for instance if you want boppi nblues buy thier "Let's Buzz" cd). This cd showcases thier "Sun Records" style mid 50's rockabilly type songs. This cd is representitive of what you might hear them play, per sat at The Doll Hut. A great cd, and a purrfect way to get introduced to the unique and swingin' trio...
The best Paladins yet........2003-03-28
This disc is great. On the previous "Slippin In" you could hear that new producer Mark Neill was starting to refine the Paladins roots-power trio sound. On "Palvoline #7" we hear fully evolved Dave Gonzalez and group. Now they have nuance. Gonzales' full-roar vocals have more shades and textures on this record and his guitar work can be subtle and hard, sometimes at the same time. Dave Gonzales has great licks and on "Palvoline #7" he gets to use them more and better. The rhythm section is tight and polished and the addition of a top-notch, two-handed boogie piano really dresses up the tunes. This is fantastic piece of work!

I have all their cd's and I am never dissapointed. I would rate them all 5*****. Everyone has there own sound & style, thats what makes them so great. I would not want some thing that always sounds like the last one. I am looking foward to hear what they got next! Palvolive has a great classic sound that never goes away.
