NOT the fastest, and boring........2006-12-27

The fastest guitarist accolade goes to Herman Li (Lee) from a power metal band called Dragonforce. He makes Angelo look average and plays so fast that you will think that there is a fault with your CD player. It is all so boring, power for the cause, tasteless playing that says so little musically.

In my extensive guitar collection, this has shot straight to the top for speed. NO ONE IS FASTER. That alone makes this a must have if you are into the guitar. However, this CD isn't all about speed. There is some very good and immensly listenable musik on this CD with some beautiful melodies. Not every tune is a winner, but the overall standard is very high and comprises many styles as well as the aforementioned MEGASPEED.
P.S. had to up the review to 5 stars as this really sets the benchmark for speed and melodie in the genre. NOONE does it faster or better.

OUT OF THIS WORLD SPEED........2003-07-29

michael angelo of nitro released this album in 1995,when instrumental guitar music wasn,t exactly popular and he doesn,t make it commercial in the least.its crammed full of impossibly fast shred which is to fast too say.
still i find the instrumentals rather well composed,and i can listen too them over and over.no boundaries is a extremely brilliant progressive rock instrumental and the other songs aint bad either and while there may be some unnessecery shred ,i think he uses his speed wisely.

anyway a great over the top shred classic.BUY IT

Michael Angelo is not a very popular soloist, but his skills is as great as other soloist.
in my mind, his style of playing skill is the same compared with vinnie moore.
however, they also have a different thing that micheal's playing is untouchable. micheal's solo is so many change in each song.
it is something like when you are using the major chord to play the piano, suddenly you jump to minor playing. then, you jump to normal again.
it is so funny and this is a great album for new listener of micheal album.
