Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Classic Vintage Punk!.......2006-10-27

If you never saw the Q's live, I'm so sorry!

I saw them twice while attending Clemson University during the early 80's.

I'm a musician, and I still enjoy playing some of their stuff!

My seven-year-old daughter (dancer) loves "Big Fat Tractor" just to name one!

The musicianship is excellent, and the lyrics are what they should be - totally unapologetic!

If you like classic punk, buy this. If you don't, hey, why are you reading this?

5 out of 5 stars one of the best albums you've never heard.......2004-04-28

i was really impressed by this album. it's worth every cent.

4 out of 5 stars 3 & 1/2 Stars: Good But They Got Better.......2002-05-18

This is early, energetic, and now somewhat dated Q's. Although lyrics like "Your baby is a big fat tractor" never get old in my book. What needs to be reissued is their excellent, underrated, '86 recording 'Blue Tomorrow.' It's not as much fun, but the songs are better: more serious, a little darker, less B-52's-influenced, at times Springsteenian-with-a-Southern-twist (and I love the cover with the ponies). Their '89 finale, sans Boston, 'World War 2.5' is also very good but misses Boston.

3 out of 5 stars There Is A Reason You Never Heard Of Them.......2002-04-21

The band is just as inexplicable and uninteresting as their name would imply.
