Check These Guys Out.......2005-08-12
A band from South Africa, Seether has gone gold with the re-release of their first album, Disclaimer II, and are getting just as huge with their newest album titled "Karma & Effect," with the first single "Remedy" becoming #1 on the rock charts. However, the first single off their Disclaimer album was "Fine Again". Let's review the songs on this cd-single.
Fine Again - The first single off their album, and probably the best choice. A catchy song that helped catch people's attention on the radio. Many people believe this song talks about alcoholism. Either way, this is one of my favorite tracks off Disclaimer II. *****
Take Me Away - Completely acoustic song and only found on their Disclaimer II album and on this cd-single. A very mellow song that you can relax to. I usually skip this track but sometimes you're in the mood to listen to something mellow. ***
Hang On - A track that first appeared on the Daredevil soundtrack, a real generic rock song in my opinion, but don't think that makes the song less worthy of checking out. A song about disliking yourself. *****
Fine Again (Acoustic) - This isn't exactly an acoustic version. It's actually an acoustic mix. But it's still a treat to have this special track because you get to hear the song in a different version. It does not take away how good the song is lyrically and the power this song has had on some people. This track is the real reason to get the cd-single, since the rest appear on Disclaimer II. *****
