Customer Reviews:
Great Album , great lyrics , hope to see more in the future .......2006-10-27
After seeing him last night at my college, he truly puts on a good show . I bought his album after the show , and after just listening to it , I was very impressed . I got to meet him after the show , and he was a really cool guy, who was extremely down to earth . I got to interview him for my college's paper and it was cool to sit down with a musician . He's only had like 4 or 5 shows with his band , so this is just the beginning for Todd Carey . He reminds me so much of John Mayer its incredible. Some of the best songs on here are " Photograph" , " Sing Me Home" , and " Simple" . I hope to hear more from him soon . He said he's coming out with a new album in the spring , so I will def . look out for that . He's def. worth the listen .
Riveting.......2005-10-13
I absolutely love this CD. I was impressed with the quality of the songwriting, as well as the depth of the melodies. Carey's ability to effectively combine lyrics and music for an intricate and yet melodically playful song remind me of the early years of Bob Dylan. His voice was incredible as well--the closest comparison for me would be John Mayer.
A very talented and charismatic artist. I hope to hear more like this!
Intriguing Artist.......2005-10-11
I absolutely love this album! Anyone that enjoys music should check out this one. It's mellow, yet exciting, and soulful. His voice is powerful and soothing at the same time. I have no other way to describe it, than to say check it out for yourself...you will be happy you did!!
Wow! Great record.......2005-08-25
I just bought this record and it's a breath of fresh air! I love it! It's got a great feel good vibe, and each song his a distinct unique vibe. Conjures comparisons to Jack Johnson, John Mayer, Ray Lamontagne, and Marc Broussard. Great musicianship too! This guy can play the guitar like a madman. I don't see how people wouldn't dig this record.
I can't wait to see what this guy does in the future.. I'm expecting BIG things!
