5 out of 5 stars The Monsterican Dream to take over the US.......2007-03-28

I was introduced to this band by a friend and have since bought every CD I could get my hands on. Though it's tough to find them at good prices, Amazon is pretty good. Just a note...Lordi tours the US this year to promote their April US release of The Arockalypse! But you just can't wait for music this good!

5 out of 5 stars Finish rock masters!.......2007-03-26

Lordi will be on everyones lips very soon with thier rocking riffs and catchy hard tunes.I am very glad i decided to give them a try and buy this album, i have since bought all of thier stuff. You can really hear thier kiss and alice cooper influence in thier music. I love rock and roll and metal and halloween, and this is like putting the two together.
Give these guys a try you wont be sorry. Lordi rocks.....|HARD!!!!

5 out of 5 stars Amazing!.......2007-01-24

This band is outstanding. From the intro (Scarctic Circle Gathering) to the outro (13), this album blew me away. With hits like: Devil Is A Loser, Would You Love A Monsterman?, and Biomechanic Man, it won't be long until Lordi takes over the U.S.

5 out of 5 stars It's Time To Get Heavy!!!.......2007-01-13

Lordi, the finnish monster rockers are the new Kiss, but more darker and extreme. Playing melodic hard rock and heavy metal, they receantly took the world over by surprise by winning the 2006 Eurovision Pop Song Contest. Their first CD shows that they are just as good then as now. The CD starts off with a nice eerie intro, then blasts it's way to Get Heavy! Following is the classic riproaring Devil is a Loser, chanting the way for Rock The Hell Outta You. The beautiful Would You Love a Monsterman quickly captivates you with it's awesome guitar riffs and Mr. Lordi's raspy vocals. The piano ballad Icon Of Dominance is follows, giving way for the rhythmitic Not The Nicest Guy. Hellbender Turbulence is follows, coninued by the mechanical Biomechanic Man. Last Kiss Goodbye is romance Lordi style, followed by the explosive Dynamite Tonite. Monster Monster nicely closes up the songs, then the sinister musical 13 plays. It's been a long time since any band has delivered such wonderful music all in monstermaniac style and fashion! If you love Kiss, horror movies, and classic heavy metal, buy this album. It's a must have!

Great Tracks: Get Heavy, Devil Is a Loser, Would You Love a Monsterman, Not The Nicest Guy, Biomechanic Man, Dynamite Tonite

4 out of 5 stars Very Good!.......2005-02-04

This band has little popularity, especially in Canada. I found them out back in June of 2004, when my swedish friend sent me a music video of they're off they're second disc [which for some reason Amazon.ca doesnt have] And I fell in love, and shat my pants when I saw the band! I didnt know they dressed like that.

So Off I went and downloaded the CD [sorry $40 for an import is too much, try ebay.ca] and it was amazing! I suggest listening to the 2 singles "Devil Is A Loser" and "Would You Love A Monsterman" and a few other great tracks "Get Heavy!" "Dynamite Tonight" and "Last Kiss Goodbye" and the fast-paced "Biomechanical Man".
