Album Description

From the jumpin' opening rockin' number, "Rock N Roll Boogie", till the final note of the Presleyesque "Another Heartache", Peter & The Wolves delivers some of the hottest vintage sounding rockabilly and rock n' roll since 1956 on their new release "Trouble With Girls".

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Rock n' Roll the way it's suppose to be!.......2005-08-22

Rockabilly the way it's suppose to be - tough, cool and rockin'. These rockabillies kick ass! The best album of rock n' roll since the 1950s.

4 out of 5 stars Pretty Darn Good!.......2004-06-08

I'm very picky when it comes to this stuff and this is a pretty good cd. It's hiccuppy rockabilly with lots of echo and a competent singer who just falls short of Elvis. This is evident on the self-penned final track, which is very good, but I can't help thinking how GREAT it would have been in the hands of The King in his prime. Also notable is that this is original style Sun Records rockabilly, as opposed to the stuff put out by The Belmont Playboys, Hillbilly Hellcats, etc. and free of the obscenities favored by some rockabilly bands of recent years. Guitarist Ralph Rebel plays some tasty licks and should stick to this stuff instead of trying to rehash classic surf tunes. All in all, this is one rockin' cd and I'd certainly recommend it.
