Rick Lee is a god! Not only is he beautiful. He's talented. He has style that makes me wet. I love him. He is the kind that I wish you all were.
Rick, You give love a bad name. But, you give cool a definition.
You are important.

5 out of 5 stars No one plays makeshift percussion as well as Skeleton Key.......2001-06-18

This is a gem of a cd, one reason because you can't find any thing else by them in print anymore(the closest you can get is that every member of skeleton key minus the guitarist are in the band enon, and skeleton key do one song with the melvins on "the crybaby"), and the other reason is that the infectious up and down grooves, and gritty chemistry of the band keep you wanting to listen to the (sadly only) 6 songs over and over again. I highly recommend this to anyone who is into unique music.

5 out of 5 stars The Skeleton Crew...........2000-10-20

This is a great little CD. For some strange reason their sound reminds me of "Good Morning, Captain" by Slint. They are awesome, bombastic, percussive musicians who's music is equal parts Harry Partch/Tom Waits and straight up hardcore/rock. It is atmospheric and ultra creepy, the perfect soundtrack for the scene of some supernatural crime. Plus, how can you not love a band that titles one of their instrumentals "Hoboerotica"?!?

Recommended if you like Slint, Tom Waits, John Zorn, Mr. Bungle, hardcore or indie rock.
