Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Simply amazing.......2005-01-14

This album was simply amazing when it came out and now I am ready to buy it on CD. He shows another side or really his ability to versify into ballads from the story of I, which is more an album with one story rather than short stories like this one. Simply an amazing keyboardist who can compose and give you a Latin (Brazilian) feel in Prog Rock. No one else can really do that and if they can please tell me about them, I will buy it too.

5 out of 5 stars The Latin side of Moraz.......2003-04-26

Of all the Moraz lps I have, this is my favorite! It has a nice Latin flavor to it, with a kind of Brazilian/Cuban percussion, New Age "lite" edge to the excellent keyboard work. The cuts alternate between levels of energy, ebbing and flowing like the ocean which really does make you feel the album is aptly named. I wish more of his solo work would be released on cd - I'd love to get "Keep the Children Alive" in this format. Recommended for those who enjoy new age jazz, and those who like all kind of positively charged Latin music.

4 out of 5 stars A mixed bag, but worth getting.......2002-07-19

This album isn't as consistent or as ambitious as "The Story of I", which really is the first album for any new Moraz fan to try. That said, there's something laid-back and good natured about this album, and I have to admit that I listen to it more often than "I". The "Story of I" demands all your attention, while this album is more like pleasant company. There's a few really atrocious cuts on it (Love-Hate-Sun-Rain-You being the worst offender), but don't let that put you off the rest of the album. The cover gets across its feel pretty accurately -- imagine a mellow summer day in the mid-1970s.
