Customer Reviews:
Awesome album!.......2005-08-10
fly= 5/5: This song is so inspiring! It's the first song I ever paid attention to on this album. BTW this song talks about never giving up no matter how hard things are and open yourself up if you want to hide away and that you can shine no matter what.
do you want me?= 5/5: Nothing to say except a cool beat to dance to.
weird= 3/5 okay this song is different from her other ones. This one has no electric guitar, but it's still good, but i like this one the least.
hide away= 5/5: This song talks about the fact that we shouldn't hide away.
mr.james dean= 5/5: This song talks about that someone can never replace a guy that you liked.
underneath this smile= 4/5: okay but a little too sorrow.
dangerous to know= 5/5: This song has rockin' beat
who's that girl?= 5/5: Cool beat
shine= 5/5: sweet song
I am= 5/5=:Talks about self- esteem
The Getaway= 5/5: Tlaks about how you need to getaway from a place.
Cry= 5/5: Talks about how you can cry over everything
Haters= 5/5: Talks about the fact that you shouldn't hate anyone.
Rock This World= 5/5: Talks about rockin' the world.
Someone's Watching Over Me= 10/5: talks about someone (ex. God and your family) watching over you and same thing as fly only this is the 2nd song I paied attention to.
Jericho= 5/5: Talks about having a strong heart.
The Last Song= 5/5= n/a.
I don't like Hilary Duff At All.......2005-07-20
You know what I'd say to Hilary Duff, is that she's a jerk at
every album she does. And it's true believe me.She even changed the lyrics to her new song "Wake Up" that actually is on her 4th
album plus, she tricked the audience that when they heard her
sing "Wake Up" in her perfect way, everyone will not like that
she tricked every one in L.A. and in other countries for those
lyrics just to be perfect. Also, you shouldn't get Hilary's other
albums cause they all suck. You know what, I don't like when a
girl like her tricks the audience in front of a stupid song she
changed to made everyone get the lyrics to that song. Ya'll shouldn't like Hilary Duff because she writes bad songs, lipsynchs, echoes her stupid voice(which she thinks her voice is
perfect), a rude girl with her possy and hangs out with her sister so much. Trust me you shouldn't like Hilary Duff because
I wrote what was right and what was wrong. I don't like Hilary
Duff, neither do either one of you guys that don't know or not like Hilary Duff. Thanks for this message cause this'll help with what Mrs. Stupid Voice (I mean Hilary Duff) feel. If everybody agrees with this message it's great. And if you don't
then still keep liking her like little kids that look up to her.
Bye Bye Ya'll.

I love this cd.Everyone can relate to it girl or boy........2005-02-17
Hillary Duff's album is combined with rock and pop.More rock. Its so surreal and you can relate to it.Its the best. Its better then her first.Fly is really good. And my favortie is The Getaway and Who's that girl.I can really relate to that song.Weird is so good. Its like rock - pop.Its awesome.Dangerous to know is so cool. Its about like being a rebel and just dont care. The Getaway is my favorite its like really slow then it goes into rock. This cd is really good.Any girl should own this between the ages of 11-16.You can really relate to it.
Come FLY with her!.......2004-12-06
We get it, Hilary Duff, you're nice.
You're the only sunny blond pop star still standing, you're close to your family, you make sweet and safe movies and music for the tween set, and even when you wear so-brown-it's-black nail polish and a Motörhead concert tee, you still don't pull off pouty.
The thing is, with perhaps the exception of Avril Lavigne and Lindsay Lohan, no one's complaining. The story of teen star tiring of her girl-next-door image only to affect a more extreme, sexy one for the second album is played out by now. Ditto the "girl on the brink of self-destruction" and the "out-of-control party girl." But what is the media to do if a chart-topping teen star doesn't offer much in the way of tabloid fodder or not-a-girl-not-yet-a-woman angst or a dark side simmering beneath her seemly surface? And what if she also doesn't conform to the other extreme stereotype, that of a corny goody two-shoes who regular teenagers can't or don't want to relate to?
Ask Hilary Duff.
She's charming and adorable, outspoken without being preachy, a good girl without being unrealistically restrained. But mostly, she's a regular 17-year-old. And while that makes it tough to slap on her the "perfect good girl" or "dirty bad girl" label that inevitably gets assigned to all female pop stars, it's also what makes her so popular.
"In some magazines, they almost want me to deny what I am, and I never do that because I really am comfortable with myself," she says. "I am a good girl. I'm not going to try to prove to anybody else that I'm not this clean-cut type of person, because I am. I'm not crazy out there partying all the time. When I have time off, I like to go out to clubs sometimes, but that's not a 'bad girl' thing to do, that's just fun. And I definitely don't dress in turtlenecks, but because I don't take my clothes off and show everything I have doesn't mean that I'm not a grown-up."
Looking at the way most pop stars present themselves, it's easy to think that dressed = kiddie artist, undressed = adult artist. Duff, however, doesn't see sex as being synonymous with growth.
"Certain artists my age who are going through this phase of not wanting a younger audience or not wanting people their age to like them or trying to get a more male-oriented audience will take their clothes off, and I definitely don't think that's a sign of maturity," she says matter-of-factly. "But I also think that if they feel comfortable doing stuff like that, then more power to them."
