All the old favorites in one spot!.......2003-02-06

If you grew up loving '70's and '80's music, this one is for you! I never thought I'd find one collection that included all the great songs I loved in high school (I'm dating myself here but that' okay) but EASY ROCK is definitely an all-emcompassing hit compilation. From Air Supply to Dr. Hook, you will recall the lyrics to all these great tunes, and find yourself longing for the day when it was "cool" to like songs without foul language and words you could actually understand. This is a must have for your music library. Enjoy it!

A good collection of tunes, completely overplayed in their day, but after a nice rest, listenable once again.

Creeped me out though how many of these songs have Michael McDonald as lead or background singer. AHHH, he's everywhere.

When I was looking for the song, "Hot Child In In The City", this cd popped up on Amazon.com as one to view for this song. When I saw all the songs this cd featured, I had to order it...and FAST! Wow! There are so many songs on this cd! I enjoy all the songs. There are slow songs, dance songs and good time rock-n-roll songs. I had the song playing, "Kiss You All Over", and dancing around the living room, and my nephew Jon Jon walked in and asked, "Uncle Gary, what are you doing?" I told him these were the songs that ruled the radio when I was younger (hey, it wasn't that long ago!). He just shrugged and looked at me like I had lost it. He is 6) Oh well, if it isn't Britney Spears, Back Street Boys or The Rock, he doesn't want to hear it. He told me the song, Into The Night" is "cool". I think so too.

Nice mix, but be aware..........2001-08-08

The selection of songs is great, and the sound quality is really solid, but the manufacturer (Time-Warner) seems to be implementing copy protection which will cause distortions in any CDs you burn off of this one.
