Lyrics over ( for much of the cd) fusion-esque jazz. At times Jimmy Smith-ish. More at easy and less poppish (463, Wicked and Weird) than some of his newer offerings. Were I to throw out a guess I would say that this was an effort to make a vehicle to get out what i would assume to be a notebook of left-over unused lyrics. .. and on this cd he offers some commentary or criticism of hiphop. This cd is very lyrical and fairly strong the tracks are un-named which is akward a bit but... tough.
