New album cover, extra tracks??? was the US label trying for an EMO look for the band?????, great cd but not as good as their Debut 'slightly odway'
title.......2005-05-04
I really like this CD a lot. The best stand-out feature of Jebediah is how they have such a versatillity in song-wrinting styles. There's punk song ("Slot Car Racing"), songs that could be argued to be emo ("Did You Really?"), your basic rock songs ("Feet Touch The Ground"), even a song with heavy country influence ("Happier Sad"), and an orcestrated epic masterpiece ("Run Of The Company"). The whole album is very well put together and is one of those gems that can be and should be listened to from beginning to end every time.
Jeb Rock.......2001-12-22
Basically, as an Aussie I get alot more Jebediah than American's see. As much as Of Someday Shambles is an awesome album with some brilliant songs, most notably Star Machine and Please Leave. But all the songs are great in their own right. However the biggest shame is the fact that Jebediah's debut album Slightly Oddway wasn't relesed in the US as it is the most amazing album I own. It is one of the albums I can listen to non-stop a few times over. Just to note Jerks of Attention in Australia was on Slightly Oddway.
Jeb rock, get all you can of em!
Platinum.....in Australia.......2000-12-28
I saw Jebediah with Jimmy Eat World a few months ago and I must say that I didn't like them at first. I didn't understand what he was saying, and quite frankly, was just looking forward to Jimmy Eat World. My friend bought both this and the split EP with Jebediah and JEW and both are really good. I only give this a 4 because my fav. Jeb. song, Harpoon, isn't on this, but I like the song Animal alot. The rest of the album is emo-tinged but is really just Austrailian pop-rock. It's good, though.
Cool CD from Australia's best emo bands.......2000-11-11
