Customer Reviews:
a true artist!!!!!!!!!!! 5 stars tooooo low of a ratring!!!!!!!!!!.......2006-01-03
im enthused he is still making music after all these uncommercial/MTV years.saddened by the lack of respect this man gets.granted, the ''best of's'' and the like keep regurgitaing the same 10 songs in varying orders.he is so much more than vienna and if i was its ridiculous.i had the absolute honor of seeing him twice,1 was planned, the other was bumped into.1st i saw him during his answers to nothing tour in nyc.he killed to a packed house(where studio 54 used to be).much later and after listening to move me a million times,i check out his site for kicks and see hes returned to nyc!!!!!!!!AND just a half block from where i work in a little club called the cutting room.if there were 50 of us(that would leave no room to in this joint, its that small)it would have been a miracle.but every square inch was accounted for by a midge fan.i was surprised not by his acoustic set but his fiestiness.for a little guy,he has moxie!there was a drunk heckler in the back yapping up some waitress when the music stops and midge screams out ''SHUT THE F UP!!!!!''when all went silent,he continued without missing a note.i would die a happy man if he and chris cornell of sound garden/audioslave would collaborate.anyway, midge is the man and each cd is better that the last(and thats no small feat!!!!!!).i used to think answers was his best, now i know its move me(until he comes out with a new one, hopefully soon!!!!)btw,i dl'ed a song from the phantom of the opera and hes doing a nice duet with this lady.id be happy if midge never had a ''best of '' collection but instead b-sides and rarities.id like to hear what he tossed away.
Excellent album.......2002-05-05
I think this album is one of the best that I listen during the last decade. Don`t wait to buy!!!
Move Me (UK).......2001-07-09
Having obtained one of the pre-released editions of Midge's UK released CD "Move Me". The lyrics and music are excellent. Midge at his best. New and fresh. Most enjoyable. From the full symphonic version of "Under a Speilberg Sky" to the accustic radio edit "Move Me". Truly worth buying to have in your collection. All of the tracks mean so much at different levels. Finally, the very poignant "Refugee Song", so apt in today's world.
Love It!.......2001-06-24
This is a must for any Midge Ure/Ultravox fan. "The Voice" is still in fabulous form, possibly sounding better than ever and the songs are not disappointing. They grow on you. Standout tracks are definitely "Alone", "Let Me Go", and "Beneath a Spielberg Sky". Don't hesitate...grab this one fast and you will be singing along in no time.
Midges Strong vocals and Lyrics come through.......2001-06-08
Once again one of the best lyricists and musicians of our time releases an album of such emotion and warmth. Midge Ures compassion and soulful emotions come through unadulterated and unabstructed. His thoughts are clear and this album is a testament to the many years in the making of his career. Move me has numerous "stand out" tracks, and offers the listener a variety of styles and sounds. One has but to wonder what artists such as he would do if left to thier own devices and free to run wild with thier own ideas.
