5 out of 5 stars From the source.......2006-11-26

This is a great re-release of the only LP our company Good Records ever produced! I helped in the production of this LP and observed the creative process that made this album possible. A must for any true collector, a part of 70's rock history.

5 out of 5 stars Great lost album?.......2006-03-25

You bet it is. You never know they were from Chicago. One of the most unique bands that I have heard in long while. I would compare them to Snakegrinder or of course the Grateful Dead at their finest. The interplay of the instruments is spot on. Crisp tasteful. They bring you into their music. Their Arrangement of the familar "I Know you Rider" is highlights their tasteful interplay. Apache Canyon is one of the best sound painting done with both acoustic and electric guitar that I have heard. Followed by Hexahedron pure jam out space but also bringing it home when it needs to be. A shame their broke up. Well not really they sort of became JPT Scare Band another lost gem.

1 out of 5 stars Mountain Bus.......2005-09-23

This old 70's band was a backup band throughout there brief history. I seen them a number of times in Chicago backing up the likes of Ted Nugent, Rory Gallagher, and other Aragon Ballroom headliners. This album and band reminds me of "Pure Prairie League" If you like that kind of music then this might be for you. The three times I seen them in the 70's they didnt get a good responce at all from the crowd.

5 out of 5 stars Sol the manager almost lost his house..........2005-04-15

...I agree with the previous review...nice & smooth toetappin' ditties...I just want to add a little trivia...The band Mountain sued Mountain Bus over their name...and that was the catalyst for the demise of this fine band from Chicago.
