'Four Winds The Walker'is an entirely acoustic recording that creates a pastiche of the inner workings of four uniquely talented young ladies whose cryptic poetess spirits spiral into one beautifully macabre cinematic landscape of slightly atonal and percussive song diatribes. If Brakkhage worked with sound in a bizzare experiment with Harry Partch, and the lyrical musings of Emily Dickinson were the inspiration for the lyrics- revised and scratched onto a gas station restroom wall; then you'd be close to knowing what this record might perform on your soul.
