Customer Reviews:

1 out of 5 stars They may have the name............2004-07-30

but this is not the Little River Band. Comparing this group with the originals is like comparing Wings with the Beatles i.e Wings was an average band made competent by the uniqueness of McCartney....the Beatles were special. Draw the same comparison between the psuedo LRB and the real LRB.....

1 out of 5 stars This is a tribute band........2004-07-20

Fact 1-There is not one original founding member of Little River band in this tribute band.
Fact 2-This group's owner used court action to prevent the three original founding members,Beeb Birtles,Glen Shorrock and Graeme Goble from having the name. Just imagine if Lennon,MacCartney and Harrison had been denied the right to record as the Beatles.
Fact 3-Birtles,Goble and Shorrock wrote all the US Billboard top 40 hits of LRB. Just check the albums for their names.
Fact 4-This album from this tribute band does not sound anything like the original group.
This isn't about changing members as one poster(possibly from the group)claimed. This is about the originals being denied their name by these imposters who then had the gall to record with the name that they appropiated off the real members. Disgraceful conduct as are some of these dubious reviews. How could an album with not one original singer get such 5 star reviews unless the bands members voted a few times.

3 out of 5 stars First LRB album in 12 years.......2003-12-30

LITTLE RIVER BAND'S first true album release in twelve years is an impressive collection of fresh original songs, performed by a regrouped contemporary rock band. With WAYNE NELSON doing most of the lead vocals and STEPHEN HOUSDEN'S extraordinary guitar playing plus the typical stylistic attributes Where We Started From was instantly and wholeheartedly welcomed by the fans. Other than nine new originals the band recorded remakes of "The Night Owls" and "Cool Change" [which they had better left untouched, in my opinion]. The more you listen to this album, the more you enjoy its sophisticated arrangements. WAYNE contributes his wonderful and heartbreaking "Who Made The Moon", a memorial as well as his musical contribution to his pet project, the Angel House Shelter Foundation.

3 out of 5 stars NOT LRB.......2003-11-26

Are the Beatles without any of the Fab 4 "The Beatles"
Would you listen to "The Eagles" without Glen or Don?
Mark is "Dire Strait"
Does "Rolling Stones" have Mick and Keith??????

So....LRB without Glen, Beeb and Graham is Music Piracy...
