5 out of 5 stars Tigers Rock.......2002-04-18

Thrashy hot - somebody's been doing their homework!

Has the grit of the '70's punk scene w/ contemporary 'wall of sound' edges without the post punk pop 'Greenday' feel.

Would like to see 'em live...

5 out of 5 stars Yay for the Selby Tigers!.......2002-01-22

I first heard the song Droid on a sampler and I loved it. One of the lead singers has a great voice and she's also a woman which is cool, considering most bands of this genre are dominated by men. Almost everyone in the band gets a turn to sing, which is also cool. This album is fun to listen to, and combines alot of genres of music. GO BUY IT!

ok, so i just got back from a selby tigers show at first ave in downtown minneapolis. well, not technically really, the tickets sold out, so i only got to hear them from outside! really, im not 100% familiar w/the selby tigers, but i can definetely say that i what i did hear was awesome, hopefully they will be coming back to 1st ave and i will actually see them.

5 out of 5 stars Sick of Jesse Ventura? Next time let's elect Selby........2001-04-10

This is one disk that you will eventually melt in your player. Selby utilizes 70's punk sound with an excellent pop sensibility. Forget all those other punk bands, Selby has what you need. Perfectly executed fun punk record, this disk has gotten me through some tough term papers and some rough break ups. But don't write it off because I said it's fun. There is no novelty involved. Simply amazing. If you're debating whether or not to buy it, GET IT! Although if you live in the twin cities area, its cheaper at local record shops.

5 out of 5 stars Roar!.......2001-01-25

This album is fun, pure and simple. If you like your indie-pop funky and free-wheeling, you'll love this full-length offering by St. Paul, MN's friendliest musicians!

If you like songs about grade-school classrooms, ergonomic high-chairs, Obi-Kenobi's "droid" proclaimation and the paparazzi, look no further.
