Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars there grrrrrreat!.......2004-12-18

Being from Atlanta i first heard 6X play on the local college station WRAS 88.5. Granted they weren't really the style of music i listened to at the time i was blown away when i picked the cd up. I can only discribe it as "fun" music without being annoying as most "fun" music has a habit of being.
I was lucky enough to catch them live a couple of times and they were just as impressive live as on their cd. They're broke up now i believe so you won't be seeing their show but pick up this cd and their sophomore release "Thunder Bomb". You won't be disappointed... unless you suck of course.^_^

5 out of 5 stars 6X Rocked Me Like a Hurricane.......2000-08-25

Great CD! As much fun as a pack of wild monkeys running amok in a bananna pudding factory.

5 out of 5 stars Power pop 6x-traordinaires!.......2000-02-27

With the opening sound of a ferocious amp off the first track "Rock Out", you will find yourself lost in a true rock and roll album. So PLAY IT LOUD!

Kung Pow delivers a whopping blow of power chords and classic-rock style riffs with intense punk/pop/blues all rolled into one killer album. You will hum these tunes at work (maybe even workout with it (per the lead singer herself) and in your sleep. Young and old will love this album. Think Muffs and Blondie meets classic rock and punk rock.
