I Can't Help But Say Good Things..........2000-11-10

In the year 2000 there is pop that can be catchy, danceable, and good. However, one wouldn't know that by listening to the songs being turned out on American radio--cheesy lyrics, sappy love songs, raunchy suggestions, catches and hooks with no soul. Then comes along Robbie Williams. A former boy band member who proves that pop music can be not only be danceable and catchy, it can also be sarcastic, witty, humorous, fun, introspective, self-effacing and good. The duet "Kids" is a perfect example of that, and it probably won't even be heard ad nauseum on U.S. soil like pop music by the Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, and pop-punk band Blink-182.
