To lil' stevie barnett.......2005-02-27
If you think you've been made fun of and teased because of your political views you're either not very intelligent or just plain dishonest. The reality was you were a j*ck*ss, your reviews- conservative, left wing, whatever- were mean spirited, attacked other reviewers, showed you to be intimidated by anyone with an education (those dreaded pseudo in-TIE-lect-you-alls) and to have a short, rather immature temper.
You got what you deserved, which was to have them plastered on discussion boards and ridiculed. It had nothing to do with conservative vs liberal, again, you're either not very bright or being very dishonest.
The real test is that you pulled your reviews out of embarrassment. I CHALLENGE you to repost them- WITHOUT EDITING the nutty outbursts contained within. Won't do it will you? Your band sucks by the way...
Have to admit, this is my FAVORITE Baboon Album.......2005-02-10
This album rocks my socks, I LOVE this era of Baboon noise/rock. I would even go so far as to call it inspiring.
On "another note"...haha.... this "cynthiablalock" has posted her B.S. reveiws on SEVERAL sites I have seen. Crying over being the drummer's scorned lover. Dry your eyes, and be a big girl......move on with your life, stalk another band.
LOVE YOU BABOON!!!
Folks, Don't *Ever* Talk About Politics On The Internet.......2005-02-09
...especially if you're a conservative, or happen to have some conservative opinions. Regardless whether it's a political book review, a political movie review, or even a political discussion board...don't do it. And certainly don't be stupid enough to use your real name like I did. You'll wind up with weird messages in your inbox, people adopting your own name and posting insults, stalkers, etc. Even a couple years later.
I don't know why anyone would *care* enough to bother, but there it is.
I can assure anyone reading this that I am in fact the only "hater/nazi/bigot/fascist/fox news viewer" type guy in the band......the other band members are all very nice and liberal. And besides, I don't think my allegiance with the dark side has affected my drumming much....other than the fact that I did tune my snaredrum to sound like "BUSH! BUSH! BUSH!"
Please disregard the previous "review.".......2004-12-16
Please disregard the previous "review" because it is not a review of the CD. It is a personal attack on our drummer.
Move on, nothing to see.......2004-05-25
Baboon is a has-been minor club band in Dallas capable of some pretty mediocre shows. It doesn't get much better on cd either. Save your $15.
