This one is a good place to start.......2002-07-07
"Along The March" is my favorite MW song to date. A funeral rhythm with lots of reverb and mystery. "Euphrosyne" is a good dance track with strong melody. "Thalia" suggests the influence of Christian Death - ain't nothin' wrong with that. This vibe continues on "The Hunter's Trail." Fortunately, you can hear a sample of their anthem (track 5), a catchy rock-waltz.
If they'd released "No Way Out" in '86, MTV would've played the accompanying video nonstop for weeks. The cover of Jefferson Airplane's "White Rabbit" is a good example of psychadelic goth. Christianna shows off her bad-girl vocals on the punk-friendly "T-200 (Kokoro)." "A Precession of The Equinoxes" is a sturdy new-wave dance track with no words and a strong beat. "Aglaia at Auroras" is a mood piece reminiscent of Die Form.
Yeah, I don't know the meaning behind some of the song titles either. Christianna has clearly read more books than I have. They have a new album on the way. Say it with me: Yaaaay!
