Jud Newcomb's latest "Byzantine" deserves a much wider audience however in today's world of cookie cutter reproductions in the music arena, guys like Scrappy just keep making great records for the cult that appreciates great writing and performing. Scrappy's vocals bring to mind the best moments of a smokey and dreamy Dylan while the band recalls the best moments of the Faces and the Band.
Great stuff that will have me returning to his work time and time again when I need special moments with musical class.
