the lyrics aren't too original, snazzy or poetic (ok, not at all poetic) but it's funny and these guys are great and hilarious dudes. their live shows are totally worth seeing and, lets face it, how can i not love local guys?? ach! the drummer is hot too and you should all check out the new cd also!

i particularly reccomend you listen to "diver dan" "divas are skanks" and "jenny and i"

Awesome Cd.......2004-09-13

Some of my friends and i recently had SOJH come and play here, and they rocked, they are awesome, i bought both cds they have out and they are both awesome, personally i think this punk is different than everything else ive heard, like the common pretty boy yellowcard bands, but this i think is different, its fun and a little off of the mainstream, but i definitely reccomend this band!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have not boughten this cd, just so everyone knows. Like one reviewer said, there are a thousnad like it. That's true, but not everyone likes change, right? This is a case of a band who is extremely young doing an album just for the love of music. If you like pop-punk (not REAL pop-punk, like the Ramones), I suggest picking this one up. On a talent level, I'd probably give these guys a 3. But, they are a really fun band and sing about things that appeal to immature 16 year olds, just like me:). For those of you who download tons of stuff like me, I suggest downloading the tracks "Happy Fun Song" and "Boner."
For fans of.... Allister (dead ends and girlfriends, the pop side of NOFX, Fenix Tx (minus the metal influences), and blink-182 (cheshire cat era). In other words, you'll like album if you're open-minded and enjoy newer pop-punk. Also, this is medium to fast-paced pop-punk, not like Good Charlotte and simple plan who throw some slower stuff in there.

Unoriginal, derivative, telegraphed "wunk rock" which is a rip-off of NOFX/Less than Jake rip-offs. I would support local Nebraska music if it had something fresh and exciting to offer, not like this. Imagine the happy comedic energy of NOFX, but without the originality or creativity, the musical punk-rock equivalent of every Chevy Chase movie after "Vacation" and "Caddyshack." Boring, tedious and un-recommended.

For those of you under the age of 16, disregard the above. Here is a review for you: THIS CD ROX DOOD!!!! U SHOOD BUY IT IF U R INTO PUNK ROCK THEEZ GUYZ ROOLE!!!
