Just that close to being great..........2004-11-08

I first heard Jersey's Saturday Night on the Warped Tour Comp (it was sad how I couldn't go, but that's life...)and loved it. After reading some good reviews of the CD I went for it, and it wasn't as good as I expected. For one thing, the one liner choruses can really get on your nerves sometimes, and a few of the lyrics weren't as good as I thought they would be.

On the good sight, the aggression and melody in the songs are really nice and makes me happy. None of the songwriting made me go wow and stop on the spot, but it was still a good Cd, just not great. Favorite tracks included the intrude and saturday night, I thought the combo was brilliant, lessons, and dirty bones and coffins.

The debut from Universal Records' punkers Jersey is a promising album. The band is actually from the west coast, even though their name(and their sound)may suggest otherwise. That sound i mentioned, sounds similar to the punk Operation Ivy taught many bands to play. Though this is nothing we haven't heard before, these guys should probably gain some new fans with this release.

Awesome cd.......2004-05-31

this is an amazing cd i bought it at one of jerseys concerts when they played with alexisonfire and at the mercy of inspiration ive personally met the guys from the band and i have a signed cd. saturday night is an amazing song, jersey deserves more fame then they already have.

Best Canadian band since Gob.......2004-05-27

I first heard Jersey a year and a bit ago on Much's "The Punk Show" I downloaded the first single off the CD, Generation Genocide, and was greatly impressed. After seeing them live, I bought their CD, and it has since became one of my favorites. These guys are an awesome punk band, and not one song on the CD dissapoints, a must have for any punk fan!
