Album Details
Edsel is Proud to Present the Three Albums Kevin Ayers Recorded for Island Records 1974 and 1975. One of the Leading Lights of the Canterbury Scene, Ayers was Founder Member of Soft Machine in 1967 Before Going Solo in 1969. "The Confessions of Dr Dream" Found Ayers at a Creative and Commercial Peak. Guest Include Mike Oldfield, Mike Ratledge from Soft Machine and Nico. "Sweet Deceiver" Featured Special Guest Elton John. "June 1, 1974" was Recorded Live at the Rainbow in the Heady Company of Eno, John Cale and Nico, all of Whom Had New Albums Out on Island at the Time. The Performances by These Artists Are Not Available on Any Other Album.

This is a fantastic bargain for the price..You get all three Island albums: "Dr. Dream", "Sweet Deceiver", & "June 1,1974"..
As an added bonus you get the three hard to find single sides as bonus tracks..
If you don't own any of these albums on cd yet, I suggest you go for this release..The remastering is fantastic and the booklet is great..Not much else to say..Classic Kevin Ayers!
