Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Whoa.......2004-03-18

I picked this CD up at FYE for 97 cents. I only really bought it because I liked the cover (And how can you not?). I was quite surprised by the quality of the EP. There are some really good tunes here, especially Miss Self Esteem. Best 97 cents I've ever spent.

3 out of 5 stars I miss the 'Mats too but..........2003-10-15

This isn't a bad record and it's certainly a lot better than a couple of albums Chris Mars and Slim have put out over the years. However, except for "Miss Self-Esteem" and the "Crocodile Rock" cover hidden on the last track, these songs really didn't move me. Come on, Tommy. Bring back Bash and Pop!

5 out of 5 stars Yeah, me too.......1999-05-04

I miss the 'Mats a lot, too. Paul's solo stuff is great, but it's a far cry from the roaring rave-up rockers the Replacements used to do. Well, here's the next best thing to the greatest band ever to play. Perfect's EP is incredible, big, loud rock. It's got everything I've wanted to hear for a long time, and it's great to be hearing it. Not since Pleased To Meet Me have I felt so good about buying music (has it been 12 years?). Tommy Stinson, the 'Mats' bassist heads this effort, and it's much better than the short lived Bash & Pop group (although they were pretty damn good, too) You done good guys. I'm dying for the LP to come out.
