The "real" 3rd album.......2005-01-28
Made in GER in 2004, Serial 0681-110, Playing Time 49:12
This album remained unreleased until now, but was in fact recorded between the "The Second Album" album and the "Mega Force" album.
Though the production lacks some "woomph", the 707 fan should be pleased with this release; I must admit I was disappointed by their "Trip To Heaven" release, what we have here are great compositions, with some catchy arrangements, solid guitar work, and a certain amount of hooks!
Sure, the album sounds a bit "dated" (it's really 25 years old!), but it's well produced and has its fair share of 707 trademarks.
Recorded while the band consisted of Phil Bryant, Kevin Russell, Tod Howarth and Jim McClarty (nope, no sign of Kevin Chalfant yet!), it probably has more commercial appeal than their other efforts (possibly due to their participation in REO SPEEDWAGON's Hi-Infidelity tour); the opening track "Leader" had, in my opinion, a very strong single possibility... but alas, the album never saw the light of day until 2004 ?!?
