Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars essential classic rock.......2002-12-01

alvin lee is obviously one of the most exciting guitarists ever to grace rock. he could rock it or jazz it up. his band kept pace with his delirious style.

but he waas also a great understater. with so much talent, he would only give you glimpses, in a manner similar to eric clapton. he only breaks out on occasion.

i have not heard the other ten years after cd. but this is a great compilation. one of the best classic rock cds you can buy.

5 out of 5 stars Unsung Heroes.......2000-06-16

I read somewhere that when Hendrix saw Alvin lee playing (With TYA) at Woodstock, he was 'Just a little bit Jealous'. After hearing this album I can see why. As a band, TYA are the amongst the great unsung heroes of the era. If you're into the sixties, get into this.
