Customer Reviews:
Wow! Where did that come from?.......2005-07-16
I got this album on the first day it was released here in the philippines some several years ago. At first, i thought it was ok but then the more i listened to it, the better it sounded. I have almost all of Air Supply's album from "once upon a time", to "love and other bruises" to the latest "across the concrete sky" but this has to be one of my personal favorites! Buy it, it's worth every cent!
Not bad at all.......2005-03-12
I haven't really listened to the whole thing yet. I really like "Heart of the Rose" and of course "Someone". The title track is very impressive. I didn't really like "Just Between the Lines", but I love their rendition of "Unchained Melody"...( the live version is much much better though). Good album.
Good News Indeed!.......2003-10-31
I've always enjoyed Air Supply, but they've really outdone themselves with this magnificent recording. The title track and 'Spirit of Love' are my personal favorites, but the entire album shines! If you've never given this group a listen, then start with this CD. They will be hard pressed to surpass it for sheer beauty and feeling.
I've got good News, everyone..........2003-03-22
This followed 1993's simply incredible "The Vanishing Race", and it certainly does not disappoint. It starts off with "Someone", a song with a really wonderful rhythm. "Just Between The Lines" is next; a heartfelt, quiet, haunting piece that the guys used to sing way back when they were still doing Jesus Christ Superstar. Their rendition of "Unchained Melody" is a really amazing song, and, in my opinion, even better than the Righteous Brother's original version. "Feel For Your Love" is one of my favorite tracks on the CD; it's very upbeat, and uplifting. The title track is simply incredible. Their harmonies are flawless. "Always" is surprisingly powerful, and another of my favorites on the CD. The album slows down a little with the next four songs, but it's all good. Very highly reccommended!
