Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars Got it for "Light My Fire".......2005-04-11

There will be Doors diehards who disagree with this opinion: Jose's version of "Light My Fire" is better, delivering more feeling in a trance-like, subdued mood. Jose's "Chico and the Man" may be the best TV theme by a top artist from the 70's.

4 out of 5 stars Nice choice, but there are better ones.......2001-01-09

Great performances from a great performer, but the selections on "Feliciano!" and "Light My Fire" (RCA) are more definitive, and the sound on those CDs is, to my ears, somewhat better. Eight tracks (not the biggest hits) on this CD are not duplicated on those, though, so this makes a good additional purchase.

4 out of 5 stars good collection.......2000-02-13

i have alot of respect for Jose Feliciano.his guitar tone is very special.i have heard him on countless projects and he really stands out.i dug Light my fire, but it's the theme to Chico&the Man that is my song by him.i still like that song.
