1 out of 5 stars Chessy,sappy,lame dreck!!!!!.......2006-05-04

Generally, one or two tunes like this will turn up on a rock artists album, but this baby is cheesy, sappy, lame hair metal dreck from start to finish... and did I mention the lyrics - absolutely abismal!
If you like this kind of stuff (and somebody must, because this record saw the light of day), then go ahead and enjoy...

5 out of 5 stars John Sykes love song collection!.......2006-02-16

Here we go again! Another brilliant release from John Sykes. As you'll hear, there's no need for a whammy bar on a guitar once Sykes is involved - his vibrato is huge as always. No heavy riffing on this CD but definitely another collection of great songs to go with all his heavy releases.

4 out of 5 stars Beautiful.......2005-02-16

It's not surprising that John Sykes can write a good rock ballad, but this is a fascinating collection in that he does so many good ones on just one album. Fortunately, Sykes resists the temptation to put every song into 80's power ballad-land by varying the production and easing up on the layers for many of the songs. There are a lot of good melodies here and some of Sykes' best lyrics. I would miss his guitar if he cut every album this way, but this one is a very entertaining diversion from the norm and is essential for fans of John Sykes.
