Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Superb.......2006-01-04

Great songs, performance and production.

Disclaimer: I played on one song. Doesn't matter, I love the record.

5 out of 5 stars Quality Music (period)........2004-06-03

Mic Harrison's new album can be summarized as an ideal combination of upbeat country rock tunes as well as gentle, heartfelt ballads.

Harrison avoids over-indulgent commercial sounds and sticks to the music that he obviously enjoys. Some songs reflect a Gram Parsons sound while others are reminiscent of the Stones' rock/blues perfection.

Pallbearers Shoes should be purchased by anyone who is in the mood for some great rock.

5 out of 5 stars Mic Harrison: Knoxville Favorite.......2004-06-02

Pallbearer's Shoes was just released (...). But, I have been lucky enough to hear Mic recording this album for the last couple of months here in Knoxville. I have been fortunate enought to sit in during several recording sessions at 613 Studios while this album was being created. So, in a sense, I've had an advanced sample of this album.
Although Superdrag may be having some difficulties as of the present, on this album Mic Harrison proves he has staying power as a solo musician. Each song has been maticulously crafted in to a small work of art. Mic's heart and soul has gone into this album. This is most obvious on tracks like Back to Knoxville, which -if i remember correctly- was written shortly after the death of his father. The laid back and often soulful country-rock nature of Harrisons writing keeps his albums interesting enough to listen to straight through, and over again.
