This song really surprised me. I first heard it on a compilation a friend of mine burned for me and really liked it.

Oh yeah, it has the obvious references to Pink Floyd. But I will take that influence over Kelly Clarkson any day.

What it also has, and this is the kicker, is that almost intangible combination of great songwriting and anthemic chord progression that gives you little chills all over. I don't get that from anything on the radio these days, buty RPWL have hit that nerve right on.
