Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Absolutely fantastic guitar work!.......2000-07-23

Given the uneven quality of other Link Wray recordings, I really enjoyed this CD. Some of the vocal work by Mr. Wray is on the edge, but overall a top addition to my music collection.

5 out of 5 stars amazing! amazing! amazing!.......1999-11-02

this is one awesome album from Link. incredible guitar work, at both medium, slow, and frenetic tempos, some great vocal tracks like Heartbreak Hotel and and It Was So Easy, plus Fogerty's Run Thru the Jungle. Made by just Link and his drummer Rob Louvers and bassist Eric Danno, this album kicks a**. Along with Link's live Walking Down a Street Called Love, one his best releases ever. It's amazing that this 67 year old just keeps getting better. He's at the top of his game right now

2 out of 5 stars the guitar is there, but...........................................1999-09-11

This is not one of my favorite records of Links. he seems to be repeating old songs and calling them something else... and was that some kind of cheap drum machine I heard? Nope, this is not the way I want to remember Link Wray. Unfortunately people say his live performances have gone the same way as this record. Very disappointing. May I suggest Bullshot as a great Link Wray record. That is the way I want to remember him.
