Betrayal's debut cd was Christian Thrash with a twist.
Music is dark classic thrash with hardcore type vocals {Chris Ackermann} which are really good but not as heavy as Believer or Vengeance Rising stuff.
They change up difference music sounds in the songs at times, somewhat progressive but more just a music style. This really does not take away from the Thrash to much {ok! a little} but keeps you interested in the songs.
I bought this disc when it came out in 1991 with high expatiation. Marcus Colon of Martyr {another early Christian metal band} played guitars here. I love the lyrics on the disc especially "More Faith than Me" taking on atheists.
This album is a good listen and does not bog you down. I still play this one at times.
