4 out of 5 stars dimented ranting.......2006-04-16

Did you ever get in a mood were you couldn't listen to any one song all the way through and basicly skipped around discontented?Wouldn't it be nice to have one large selection of different shorts to savor and then continue on to something else. this is it if you have a taste for dimentia while driving ect.

3 out of 5 stars This is a strange one.......2005-03-19

As I've said before, I am a huge fan of Buck and everything he does, but this record was not very appealing. As you probably know by now, this is a collection of 49 new riffs most of them clocking in at 1-2 minutes. Keep in mind that these are riffs, there are no tapping solos, no sweep picking, all shredding is kept at an absolute minimum.
Although this is a very creative concept, one can't help but feel a bit dissappointed when you listen to this. This sounds like something he threw together in a very half-assed fashion just to release something, which shouldn't be surprising because he releases 1-3 albums a year now. It's bad enough that these are just riffs, but their not even very good riffs, pretty much the same stuff you would always expect from Buck. All drumming is programmed in this record too. If you come across this cd, I recommend you pick it up because it is becoming increasingly hard to find. But don't expect a legitimate record like Monsters and Robots, Colma, or Population Override.

5 out of 5 stars Different...but good.......2004-04-30

It's totally a progression..if you think about the name after listening to it about 5-6 times, you really get it. The songs are kinda the same about every 7 to 8 songs, but they have been added to and a similar riff used but harder or faster. I think it's a brilliant cd after listening to it a few hundered times driving around...

5 out of 5 stars This...is out there...even for BucketHead.......2003-10-10

I've listened to tons of BucketHead albums over the years. And all of them are different from eachother for the most part, but this is REALLY out there. Most of the tracks here run about a minute in length, but they're all pretty cool. They're mostly electronic sounds and drums with distorted guitars. 'not many finger tapped solos though. The samples are really creepy. Like a fellow BucketHead fan mentioned on the message board, "It sounds like freakin' Armageddon".

There isn't much to say about this. I don't know if all of these tracks are just previews of upcoming tracks on his albums to come or what. Just as some of them get really cool, they end. It's a little annoying, but I don't mind. Get this while you can, it's getting kinda hard to find.
