Simply The Best.......2000-09-18
Kory and the Fireflies are simply the best. I have followed these guys from the start and have enjoyed watching them grow. They care about their fans, they also care about the type of lyrics that they write. I have always appriciated their Christain values and the fact that they are not afraid to sing about them. They always put on a good stage show and I am very proud to be a fan.
Radiate and Sparks Fly.......2000-09-16
Kory and the Fireflies are an exellent group of musicians and people. Their music is very unique, there is hope of a positive/fun message that is paired with rockin tunes. Kory's voice has an outstanding impact and range. The band menbers all have their own gift to share with the rest of us. The shows I have seen have been a great deal of fun that I share with my wife and I intend to bring my children to the next one. The music and environment are prone to a very diverse audience, one can not deny the quality and pleasure in the music. Thanks to Kory and the guys and I know their name will hit large.
Golden Grahams Theme.......2000-09-15
This CD is the best! Especially the song Lester! I have seen Kory and the Fireflies in concert many times and they are great! When they sing Lester, they also tie in the old, "...you and me, and me an you, .... so happy together!" song with it! You should really hear it!
South Dakota never sounded (or looked) so good........2000-09-15
If you want to listen to some great music, get ahold of a copy of "Radiate", by a band from little old South Dakota. I can tell you they don't sound like they come from SD. No cowboy hats or boots for these guys! They have solid, rocking music that you can listen to with your parents (in case you ever have to listen with your parents). The music is easy to dance to and sing to (something I like to do when I hear music). My favorite track is a tie between "Virginia", "Platinum", and "Carousel". All of the other tracks come in a close second. In my experience, the album is also great for road-tripping music. Oh yeah, and the guys can really play their instruments, too. So my parting advice, pick up a copy of "Radiate", you won't regret it.
