Album Description
One is a beautiful blonde hailing from Iceland, the other a Hackney born songwriter with foppish good looks. Together they are The Honeymoon the latest blissed out pop act ready to take on the charts. When Wayne Murray & Thorrun Magnusdottir had a chance meeting in Camden they could not have known that three months later they would be signed to RCA creating the sublime tunes that you can hear on their devastating debut album 'Dialogue'. Musically the pair complement each other perfectly wrapping majestic vocals around laid-back beats & acoustic guitars to an otherworldly effect. Compared to Fleetwood Mac (the mid-70s output), The Carpenters & Mazzy Star, The Honeymoon make what Thorrun describes as, 'sexy, Sunday music' that is destined to soundtrack lovers' caresses & smoochy reconciliations throughout 2004. 12 Tracks. RCA. 2004.

Dialogue.......2006-02-04
The honeymoon is a new band and this is their first full-length album after the "passive aggressive" ep.These two young people-Wayne Murray and Thorunn Magnusdottir-met through friends in a pub in London and talked about their music plans and it goes like this.we can call this album as "pop" but it's something more than that,it's a mix of pop-rock sound with chill-out and trip-hop as we can feel it in every song in the album.Every album has a "hit" and in "Dialogue" the song which gave the name to their first recording "passive aggressive" ep is the one.but this doesn't mean that the other ones are bad i liked every song in the album.I think we should describe their music as they describe it "It's like sexy, Sunday music the perfect soundtrack for the morning after the night before..."I recommend this album to everywhone who has a loved one or whom wants to get relaxed after a long day.
