5 out of 5 stars --Feel Defiled--.......2005-07-09

When I first saw the Disintegrating video I knew this band was unique. Hailing from Australia, this is Industrial Metal at its best. It's pure, it's passionate, it's raw. The lead singer sings with a agression like no other, which really shines on "I Hate People Like That". It was produced by Sean Bevan (Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson and Guns n Roses) and Lamar Lowder (Chainsuck and Engines of Aggression), where you just can't go wrong. This album delivers the cut-throat purity that most industrial fans desire.

5 out of 5 stars Totally blew me away!.......2005-01-22

All I can say is if you thought "Sucked In" on NSFU was good, that is only the tip of the iceberg. This band has the most unique sound to come along in a while. While the comparisons to MM are warranted, this is the direction Manson should have gone in to begin with. Obviously I love this dude's vox, and the music is in your face, aggressive to the max. While the lyrics deal with serious and at times dark topics, there's still a feel-good headbangin vibe to the whole record.

5 out of 5 stars new singer.......2004-07-17

This CD is BRILLIANT and i just found out that jerk have aquired Mario Spate from the band BARCODE as the new singer. If you liked this CD make sure you hear their new stuff, it is going to be fantastic. Mario Spate is one of the strongest singers ive heard with amazing stage presence.
its an exciting time for the band, i cant wait.

5 out of 5 stars great freaking cd!!.......2004-04-29

Well as most of the reviews i too heard "Sucked In" in the "Need For Speed Soundtrack"......unfortunantly here in Puerto Rico is basically impossible to get the Jerk CD......so i downloaded it....sorry!. Anyway the music is very heavy and the guy's voice (when he's not screaming) in a way sounds a lil bit like Jay Gordon's voice from the band "Orgy"....actually only in the song "Sucked In". Im not much a fan of metal but the reason i like this band is the way they make their music.....its actually pretty original for a debut album. I love it how they blend in the bits of electronica that it has.....im surprised no one noticed that or if they did they dont write about it. My favorite tracks in here would be "I hate People Like That", "Sucked In", "Disintergrating", "My Friends All Lie", "Entertained" and "Love Your Drugs". The other songs are good too but at times you just get bored, they get a little repetitive. Overall this is a very good album, if you like music that has bits of electronica with metal like Static-X or Marilyn Manson, you should defenetly buy this album.

A must have!!!
