Album Description

REHASHER kick down the door and run around the yard! They poke you in the shoulder and look the other way! What the hell?!? REHASHER blaze, rock, and otherwise destroy! REHASHER harness the power of fast, three-chord punk rock, smack it with pop melodies, and condense it into mouth watering, face slapping, two minute chunks!
Roger's vocals are instantly recognizable from his "other" band's prominent placement on such cancelled tv shows as Boston Public, 90210, and Dawson's Creek! Yes, that's the snare... but allow REHASHER a moment to stand on their own eight feet... and try not to get caught in the stampede!! Whoooo!!!
Band Members:
ROGER: vocals + guitar (LESS THAN JAKE)
GEIS: guitar + vocals (ARMY OF PONCH)
GUI: bass + soul (ARMY OF PONCH)
JAKE: drums + hawk (SAVAGE BREWTALITY)

Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Insanity.......2006-09-08

Rehasher defines themselves as a super-fast punk band, which there aren't to many of anymore. Don't expect this to sound like the millions of other punk bands. There sound is fast and incredibly addictive. If you like Less Than Jake, you might like this band only because Less Than Jake has a more polished sound, were as Rehasher's sound is insanity in musical form. If you like to listen to fast music, This cd is for you

this cd's great, but BUY IT FROM THE BAND'S WEBSITE BECAUSE IT'S ONLY $7 DOLLARS.

4 out of 5 stars Punk like it's 1992.......2005-06-15

Rehasher is a perfect name for this band which is of course why they picked it. These guys are on a crusade to bring back that fast, melodic punk sound prevelant in the early 90's. Given that task, fans of that bygone era will defiintiely get a sense of the familiar on this disc: blazing speed, harmonized chords, start/stop riffing, and big melodic breakdowns but, tongue in cheek aside, Rehasher isn't just a simple rip off of that sound. In fact, in many respects it exceeds even the best that period had to offer.

Given the pedigree of these seasoned musicians and the mission at hand - to make fast, likable melodic punk - it's no surprise this album rocks incredibly hard from start to finish (even the Bowie cover!). While there's a couple obvious nods to bands like Propaghandi and NOFX sprinkled throughout, the bulk of this stuff sounds fresh and tasty. It also helps that they stay on target, not falling into the joke/ska/political rant song rat hole that plagues both of the previously mentioned bands albums. Just good clean fun delivered at highway speeds for the entire ride.

So for fans of that early Fat/Epitaph sound this record will be like a bolt from heaven. My only complaint is that I like this band a ton more than any of their permanent bands. It's a shame this has to be a side band but hopefully they keep with it over the years like Pinhead Gunpowder.

4 out of 5 stars the hash kicks!.......2004-12-30

wow, what can i say about this cd? the lyrics are incredible, the guitars and drums are phenomenal, and roger's singing is unbelieveable. if you like ltj, punk, or just music in general, pick this up.

the only problem, which is what keeps me from giving this 5 stars, is that it is incredibly short. at just over 24 minutes, expect to have these songs on repeat A LOT, because you will want to hear them over and over, not just for the lack of length, but also for the quality of the music on here.

if you are stll apprehensive about it, you can go to purevolume.com/rehasher and stream the entire album. after you do that, im sure you will want to pick it up.

4 out of 5 stars these guys rule.......2004-10-11

This is a fantastic album, Rogers vocals are better than ever and the rest of the band are great aswell. In my opinion all of these songs are fu**ing Brilliant there no boring or average songs they are all really fast and tuneful (but you can't expect anything less from Roger). If you like LTJ Then you'll more than likely love this CD but if you like LTJ just for there Ska elements then this CD probably isn't for you, this album is pure speedy punk rock at its best (NOT SKA). Also this is a sound i'd love to hear LTJ adopt coz chris is a fantstic guitarist and singer.
