Dangerman - Still Alive and Rocking!.......2007-03-15

I am close friends with Chris Scianni (guitars) and Dave Borla (drums) and I've loved their music from the start. Their unique samples from hours upon hours of listening to old vinyls make this album unlike any other. Each song may have a Willie Colon percussion track, with a jazz piano, melotron, or some other unheard instrument. These guys are for real - perhaps considering another album .... who knows. There were MANY songs that were never officially released when they left the record company. Go to [...] to hear ALL the songs they ever recorded including "Show Her A Little Love", "Listen to the Music" and the list goes on for about 30 more awesome, make you wanna grove tracks. I bought this CD back when Let's Make a Deal was on the radio. I absolutely love this group and have bought this CD three times because I have lost it twice (I think my friends took it) and absolutely need these songs which will make anyone smile and shake a few.

I saw them a couple of years ago when they opened for Blondie, and usually I hate opening bands but from the first song I was driven into a world where I had never been. It is such a mix of sounds that it totally blew me away! By the time they were done I was a loyal fan and in love with the lead singer! Whew! This CD will make you move!!! 'Put on your High Heeled Sneakers, yea we're going out tonight'!!!
