Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Backtracks will take you back.......2001-07-10

This album will have you singing the songs as you walk down the street. The first time I listen to it I thought ,How did he get famous with this? But the more I listened to it the more I wanted to listen to it.My 10 year old daughter loves this album.I told her it was classic bubble gum rock, but she loves it any way.She has asked for her own copy of the Cd.I love the idem of her listening to a mature good role model rather than some of the new artist of today. Parents get you kids to listen to some of your old favorites , music is a wonderful thing to share with your kids.

5 out of 5 stars very good..........2000-08-20

Most of the songs are from Mission: Magic a cartoon from the early 70s. I have recently discovered part of his musical past. The songs are light and uplifting. "You can Really Do it" is my all time favorite, because I am always trying something new. In the song he sounds like he was rooting for you.. I got the chance to chat with him about it, and even though he hated the show, I told him that I loved it, and the music. I even made a sweet comment about his aussie accent.. That made him laugh. If you really want to learn more about his musical past then this is a good place to start...

5 out of 5 stars Takes You Back in Time.......2000-01-23

I ordered Backtracks with great anticipation and it did not dissappoint me! I had most of the songs on LP and needless to say was thrilled when it came out on CD. The songs of the 70's were light and just plain made you feel good. That's what it's like listening to those songs again.
