Customer Reviews:

2 out of 5 stars Get a different compilation.......2003-09-27

You may have been to your music store lately, and noticed several compilations under the name "Super Hits." What are these compilations, you ask?

Budget-priced compilations, WITHOUT the budget price (though some dealers are smart enough to sell them for such a price.)

Each CD in this series has TEN tracks, no more, no less (meaning they don't even come close to filling the eighty minutes you can fit onto a single CD.) And, of course, they omit many key tracks (any other hits compilation by this artist is MUCH better.) This series is obviously a ploy by the record industry to rake in cash, by making compilations that look better than they really are.

THIS IS BY FAR THIS ARTIST'S WORST HITS COMPILATION! Get a different one, since it will have more tracks. BUT DON'T EVEN BOTHER WITH THIS!

4 out of 5 stars Short, but good collection.......2002-09-16

This is a good one to get if you're just a casual fan. It's basically a shorter version of both of Eddie's other greatest hits sets. All the big radio hits are here ("Take Me Home Tonight, "Think I'm in Love" etc) which makes it perfect if you just want all those songs in one place without the lesser known songs. It focuses on the debut album and his '80s stuff.

BUT WAIT! There's one exception that makes this stand out, the inclusion of "The Big Crash" from the out of print "Where's the Party". This is a hook-filled hard-rocking yet observant tune that's way better than that album's title track, which was a hit for some strange reason.

5 out of 5 stars GREAT EDDIE MONEY.......2002-06-12

THIS EX NEW YORK CITY POLICE OFFICER ROCKS. MY FAVORITE SONG OFF OF THIS CD IS "I WANNA GO BACK", WOULDN'T YOU KNOW IT. THE REST OF THE SONGS ARE GREAT ALSO. BUY THIS CD IT IS WORTH THE TIME AND MONEY, NO PUN INTENDED!

5 out of 5 stars A shorter version of Eddie Money's greatest hits.......2001-09-29

Eddie Money is probably one of the most underrated classic rock singers. He had a bunch of great hits from the late 70's to the mid-80's, and they're all here on Super Hits. The most notable of the hits on this album are "Two Tickets To Paradise," "Take Me Home Tonight," "I Wanna Go Back," "Walk On Water," and my favorite, "Baby Hold On." I didn't know the other five songs the first time I listened to them, but let me tell you, they're not duds and they're not what you find on most other greatest hits albums, which is filler.

I've come to like every single song on Eddie Money's Super Hits, making it one of the few albums that I like to listen to from start to finish without skipping any songs. Whether you like upbeat rocking hits ("Take Me Home Tonight" and "Think I'm In Love") or just great songs ("Baby Hold On," "I Wanna Go Back," and every other song on the album), it's all here waiting for you on Eddie Money's Super Hits.

If you wanna go back to the late 70's or the 80's and listen to some of the best rock 'n roll to come from those eras, then get Eddie Money's Super Hits album. It won't be a big crash to you, you'll want to hold on to this one and you'll keep running back to it time after time. It won't give you the ability to walk on water or earn you two tickets to paradise, but you will want to take it home tonight, tomorrow night, and for years to come, to your cd player in order to experience some great music from an underrated artist.
