5 out of 5 stars Worth the Money.......2007-03-09

I own 2 LP copies of the product and feel lucky to now have a CD. The price was rather high, but worth the money.

5 out of 5 stars Another Lost Classic.......2006-07-20

I picked this album up in Champagne, Illinois when I was in Air Force Technical school in late 1969/early 1970. I loved the cover and just couldn't pass it up. The music is quite good, especially Sprinkle Road To Cork Street, and Strange. I played this album quite a bit back then. I found it funny that I bought the album in Illinois and the band was actually from Illinois. Pure coincidence.

I found out later that one member was also in Coven when they came out with the Witchcraft album. Quite a bizarre shift of styles!

I think this is a themed album but I am not sure since I never listen to the words in songs with few exceptions. However, that does not matter as this album is a classic that I'll never forget and brings back fond memories. Highly recommended.

5 out of 5 stars Aorta Rocks.......2006-04-06

This is a terrific album. Had it on vinyl in 1968, and saw them in 1969 at Northwestern University. They were the "warm-up" for .... are you ready: the Kozmic Blues Band and Janis Joplin. I will never ever forget it!!!

5 out of 5 stars Aorta fans.......2006-03-23

I have been a huge fan of Aorta since I first heard the band in the late 60s. This album is without a doubt a one-of-a-kind classic. I highly recommend that all Aorta fans visit James Vincent's (aka Jim Donlinger) web site and check out "The Fossil Records" for information on Aorta, Aorta 2, Lovecraft, and The Exceptions. For greater depth, these groups and more are covered in James' no-punches-pulled autobiography, "Space Traveler: A Musician's Odyssey," which is available here on Amazon.com.
