Album Description
Sophomore effort from Philadelphia's Zolof The Rock & Roll Destroyer. This record is power pop in it's purest and most addictive form. 10 songs of melodic female vocals infusing their pop branded melodies with an undoubtedly stark presence. Comparisons to Weezer and That Dog. Available 'Over the counter' for the first time on Eyeball. We recommend you stock up on it before the FDA pulls it from the shelves!
Customer Reviews:
Zolof is fun.......2006-02-07
This is a great cd. it's kinda like power pop, synth pop, it's good. zolof is just a lot of fun. if you have the chance to see them live, go! they're really nice people and they put on a great show.
YAY zolof rules!!!.......2006-01-12
this is my first zolof the rock n roll destroyer cd, and i'm really glad it is. it's really fast, exciting, and dancy so that anyone can enjoy.
you can easily tell that this album is very different from their first, and that they've grown a lot since then. zolof is trying to find their own grounds and where they stand in today's world of music. well, either that or they're a couple of crazy kids having FUN.
when i first listened to this album i didn't like it at all. After a few listens, i got used to them and some how, a little after that i've became obsessive.
so please don't be discouraged when u get the album at first if it kind of throws you off. they might just win u over. ;D
really good.......2005-08-20
i really like this album. it's not really innapropriate for people my age and it's rockapop-ish so fi you're a punkish person or a peppy person you can enjoy it. :D
yay. oh, and teh antim depressant is called ZOLOFT.
Zolof is perscription fun! Do mix with alcohol........2005-08-09
This band was the 1st of 4 opening bands for Reel Big Fish but BY FAR the best. Their energy and great attitudes are just slightly less addicting than their fun, punk-poppy tunes. Rachel's voice is sunny and confident, and her harpsichord-type thingy is a cool addition to their sound. Tank (drummer) is 10 times more powerful live than is represent on the disc. Vince has got Green Day power chord precision. Instant sing-a-longs, fan friendly access, these guys are a Conan appearance away from big-time. Pick up this CD!! Zolof is the perfect medication for our A.D.D. afflicted music lovers!
Damn fine album.......2005-07-08
I am a fan of many of Eyeball records bands, but this particular band is one that caught my attention. The vocals are amazing.
