Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Interesting..........2005-01-12

I saw Hawksley live here in Calgary and found the whole thing very entertaining. He's very mobile on stage and keeps the crowd going on and on and on! Regarding his music, I found "Last Night We Were the Delicious Wolves" his best. It was more focused than his other CDs. On his other CDs I found him more sounding like Radiohead's Thom York from the "Kid A" CD (crooning his way through songs). Did you also know that Hawksley plays all the instruments we hear on the CD? Quite talented wouldn't you say? Anyways give this guy a listen, and keep your mind open as you do.

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic.......2003-09-27

Brilliant disk. Focused, witty, sensual and inspiring. Aural stimulation of the best kind.

5 out of 5 stars Wahoo Hawksley.......2003-07-18

This is a perfect cd, wicked clever, and in the listening some of the brilliance is sucked into your own soul and you sparkle and snap when you've reached the end. Every song is sly and smart, oh so singable and buried deep with complex emotion. This man is a genuine genius, and I am so excited to see what he comes up with next. There is nothing else in the world that sounds like Hawksley.

5 out of 5 stars a title for my review.......2003-03-27

i honestly think this man is a supernatural genius from some strange land not on the human map... *applause!*
