Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Sexy Tunes From A Sexy Decade.......2007-02-21

Never thought a commercial CD could provide songs that flowed from one track to another? Well to be honest, neither did I. However, because I've had this compilation for years now I thought it deserved reputable tribute. Apart from one or two expected duds, the majority of this listing well reflects the 80s' sexual culture/mode. Truly a great disc to play alongside an optimistic trip to work or any close but casual outing with the significant other - and all for a reasonable price.

2 out of 5 stars I don't have this disc, but..........2005-05-06

I've heard most of the songs on it, and the only one that's really "Sexy" is "So Alive" by Love And Rockets.

4 out of 5 stars Great collection of hard to find 80's classics.......2003-04-05

Sexy 80's has a collection of so many hard to find greats from the 80's that it's almost 'sexy'. Almost. It has three songs in particular that I couldn't wait another second to have in my collection. The anthem-like "Break My Stride", the power rocking "Kyrie", and the haunting dark vocals of "So Alive" should be in the library of any 80's music enthusiast, and they're tracks that I'd put somewhere on my all-time favorite songs list. I would've paid $20 just to have those on a CD, let alone these nine other songs, which are also nice.

"Turning Japanese" is surprisingly catchy. Every time I hear "I Want Candy", I can't help but to think of that steamy shower scene from the movie, Private School. "She's A Beauty" is another great one hit wonder, and "Hold Me Now" is just a good all-around pop song. In fact, there's not a single bad song on here. That goes without mentioning that the booket has a short biography about each of the artists of these songs, and it tells how high most of them climbed on the charts back in their heyday.

I have one word to say: wow. All of these great, hard to find songs on one disc, and it's so cheap it's practically a steal. You're not waiting any longer or thinking twice about purchasing it, are you?
